Active Families Benefit


The Active Families Benefit (AFB) is an annual refundable tax benefit for Saskatchewan residents to help with the costs of their children's activities. Families with an income of $60,000 or less are eligible to claim the AFB. The registration fee for any sporting, recreational, or cultural activities in Saskatchewan, outside of a school curriculum, are covered. Up to $150 per child under the age of 18 can be claimed. Please save your receipts and send them in at tax time.
